Why did my IronKey prompt me to change my password?

You may encounter a situation where your IronKey is prompting for a password change. This can occur when your IronKey Administrator has updated or changed the policy your IronKey device is assigned to. When the new policy has a more strict password requirement, the IronKey device will prompt you to change the password to adhere to new the new minimum requirements.

Please contact your IronKey Administrator or IT Help Desk if you have any questions. If you are the IronKey Administrator for your Enterprise account, you can verify the policy changes in the Admin Console.
